Every year, November 11th marks Veterans Day celebrations in the U.S. This commemorative date honors all the living men and women who at one time have served in the U.S. armed forces, and a day full of pride and honor for the country.

Veterans Day celebrations begin with the laying of a floral wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, which takes place at Arlington Cemetery just outside Washington, D.C. There are also parades and other commemorative acts throughout the day and across the country.
