The prestigious Las Palomas hotel consortium provided a series of activities from October 14th to 17th in celebration of the first 15 years of their Links golf course, while pampering to golfers and guests.

This special anniversary edition included various tournament categories, a special “stay and care” program, as well as the magna concert of Los Angeles Azules. The free mega performance celebrated the entire Las Palomas Beach & Golf Resort family, while highlighting appreciation to the community of Puerto Peñasco for allowing Las Palomas to be a hotel leader in this tourist hub and in the region.

The 15th Anniversary Tournament of The Links, which has positioned itself as one of the most important golf courses in northwestern Mexico, brought together golfers and fans from Tucson, Phoenix, Ensenada, Tijuana, Mexicali, Ciudad Obregon, Hermosillo, Chihuahua , and Puerto Peñasco. All participants enjoyed a wonderful package that included practice rounds, welcome cocktail, special buffets, and welcome kit, along with transportation and access to the Los Angeles Azules concert. Above all, the tournament offered the unique experience of playing on an 18-hole 72-par “Links” style course, designed by Forrest Richardson across desert dunes surrounded by the best ocean views.

Thanks to support of sponsors, there was a sizeable prize pool for winners from the various tournament categories. These included cash prizes of up to 250 thousand pesos for best scores, as well as all-inclusive 7 day, 6 night stay packages at Las Palomas, an IPhone 12, and luxury watches and sunglasses, among many more gifts.

From Iztapalapa to Puerto Peñasco, the cumbia rhythms of Los Angeles Azules made the Fundadores Malecon vibrate to the delight of golfers, guests, and all in attendance. As part of the 15th Anniversary celebration of The Links, the legendary band masterfully performed their best hits, including, “El Liston de tu pelo”, “Mis Sentimientos” and “17 años”, stirring the entire public to dance within the unforgettable party atmosphere.

With the amazing Sea of ​​Cortez as background, the night’s performance was designed particularly to enchant golf tournament participants and guests staying at Las Palomas, along with city residents and visitors who joined the party!
