Out with the old and in with the new! Around the world, people will find fun ways to say goodbye to 2021 and ring in 2022. New York City may have its famous ball drop in Times Square, but at Las Palomas, it’s all about the sun and sand, and the beautiful views of the Sea of Cortés. If you prefer welcoming the new year on the beach rather than in the cold and snow, Rocky Point is the place to be.

This year’s celebration will feature the music of retro band La Casetera. You may recognize band members, all brought to fame by other bands, performing classic hits from grupero, cumbia, tejano, sonora and other music genres, adding their own updated spin and fresh sound. Dance, sing, and reminisce to unforgettable favorites from Grupo Límite, Selena Quintanilla and more. Special musical guest Tatiana – the recipient of five Latin Grammy nominations – will also perform. 

The party starts at 9 p.m., with a DJ warming up the audience until La Casetera takes the stage. Enjoy delectable food, and a midnight champagne toast. It will surely be a night to remember as you welcome 2022 with cheers to good health, good fortune, and good times for the new year.  

All two-night stays booked before December 28 include two tickets to the party; additional tickets may be reserved online.
