Puerto Peñasco, Mexico – St. Patrick’s Day is celebrated every year on March 17, the anniversary of the Irish patron saint’s death in the fifth century. Originally celebrated with religious services in honor of St. Patrick, the day has evolved into a secular celebration of Irish culture, with celebrants wearing green and celebrating with festivals and parades.
